...and we're in overtime

Overdue: Day 1
It's surprising to me how instantly discouraging it can be to go past your due date. Even though I told myself over and over again that most first time moms go past their due date and I would be fine when it happened to me... not so much.
See?
Sept 21 has been my identity since the beginning of the year and now it has passed. I forgot to plan what I was going to do when Sept 22 got here.
Thank goodness my mom comes tomorrow...

  3. Oh, dear. Has your doctor offered to schedule an induction date? Both of my boys were induced (Ty on his due date and McKay 4 days early) and I LOVED it.

  5. Yea for Moms!!! Maybe your little one is just waiting for grandma to get there, THEN he'll make his grand appearance. Maybe even on the way home from the aiport you could stop by the hospital?? Wouldn't that be neat?!?!

  8. Walking really helped me! Take some strolls around the neighborhood and then when you think you're done walking...walk another lap. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

  13. Ohhh hang in there! These last few days are the hardest especially when you're dying to see him!!! I also bawled my eyes out during the 8 days I was overdue - I hadn't prepared myself for the possibility like you did, and I was so angry to wake up every day and find myself STILL pregnant! Ditto about the induction, though. Both of mine were induced and I also LOVED it!
