Graduation

Ah, graduation.

Weird clothes, long speeches, and ancient rituals. What better way to end a school career that coincidentally also involved, weird clothes, long speeches, and ancient rituals.

In an ideal world BYU and UVU would have had their ceremonies a day or two apart so we could attend both in one fell swoop, but unfortunately that didn't happen so we just went to my ceremony.

Luckily, we, uh, discovered/borrowed without the owner's knowledge a cap, gown, and hood so we could dress Tyson up and pretend we went to his graduation!

Then it was my turn.

Luckily I went to the informative, awesome, and totally effecient graduation rehearsal which ultimately confused me and sent me walking in the wrong direction.

Without that we wouldn't have gotten this shot which ended up being my favorite of the event.

Here are a few more shots of the happy graduate. I don't really have much to say about them so you can just admire how cute I look in my cap with its pink tassle.

Oh! I do have something to say about this one though. Tyson and I spent a good half hour mocking this wolverine because we thought it looked like a half drowned dog/cat that was way out of proportion and poorly constructed. Well, we went to Cabela's later that night and saw an actual wolverine.
Looked just like the sculpture.
Not like Hugh Jackman.
We were humbled.

Grandma and Grandpa were nice enough to let us stay with them and even feed us while we were there. (hi grandma!!)
No trip would be complete without running across one of these.
And the real reason we went?
To see our friends one more time!
